I have an essay, Toaster Tossing, up today in the Family Room at The Women’s Colony. The new wonderfully imagined colony is the brainchild of Derfwad Manor’s, Mrs. G.
For those of you who aren’t familiar with this fabulous retreat, it’s kind of like a creative mothership for women and comes complete with spectacular manservants. Be sure to check out all the different rooms – truly, there’s something for everybody. Let me know what you think!

@lilaphase, you’ve got to try it sometime. As a stress reliever, it’s much more effective than cardio, or even yoga.
@CB, those positions are highly sought out -if it weren’t for current economic woes and the what I bet are millions of applications, I’m sure you’d be a shoo in.
@vic for some strange reason, I’m very flattered that you think I could have lived so far off the suburban grid. Come to think of it, though, suburbia and indentured servitude have a lot in common
