Mrs. G, It's best only to learn on an as needed basis. I think it's a good sign for humanity that LOL is the universal favorite! LOL!

Staci, Y & R is good this way, because you can tune in every 3 or 4 years and know exactly what's going on. For the above the fold thing... I'm measuring on my huge monitor then.

I wouldn't doubt it about the subliminal messages. Why else would I tune in to the Victor-Ashley-Nikki love triangle for the last 20 plus years? Seriously, I've been watching Y&R since I was kid, and it's the same storyline over and over.

From what I can understand reading the forums and blog at EC, if you hit the page down button on your keyboard and you can still see your widget, you'll be fine.

Vic, a few years off my life and I guess I'm even further from getting above the fold. PS and her clones definitely had a wonderful time. They were pesky and spacey. I'm beginning to think there is something to the Chinese birth year concept.

Da old man, thanks! I guess I go by my huge monitor instead of the 10 inch one on my netbook. They might as well just say, "put it up there, way up there, where we can see it!"

Shawn, as always you blow me away with your technical know how!

Anne, the pixel count concept makes me want to shut down the computer for a week or so and take a very long nap. No OCD here, but everywhere around me at my house. Use that software if you can get it to work. When we got new computers a year or two ago, I couldn't figure out how to work ours in a way that would let kids do anything. Email me if you want info. Little people, big ears are everywhere in these parts :)

Humorsmith, as a writer, that's my ultimate goal. I'm looking forward to rarely having to depend on anything as postmodern as a muse, originality or even words.

blueviolet, I'm so glad I'm not the only one. I thought that I missed the memo or something. Insulting is right! I'm feigning obliviousness - if the kids smell blood of offense on me, I've already lost :)

stacy random, RTT was made for us! Princess Nagger has a while before she's into stuff like FB. It's just good to remember that very soon, she'll try, somewhat sucessfully to be a step or two ahead of you. Play dumb. Let her think this.

Keely, I did too, until a year or two ago, my same daughter and most of her "friends" - whatever the heck that means - jumped from my space to FB, for similar reasons. Many parents were on to the My Space thing and insisted on monitoring pages, demanding logins, etc.

phdyogurty, both my daughters have always loved this camping business. Dad was an Eagle Scout and I'm clearly not. I like blow dryers and climate control. They stayed out there all night. Some times it has been hard for me to get them out of the tent.

Annie, Good luck to you this weekend. Thanks for stopping by!
