Google also owns feedburner and it just got to be a treacherous joke. One day they'd be there and the next day, not... and not just the counts. The thing about Google friends is they are attached to one url - you can't just move them over. I tried a bunch of different things and finally when I moved over to feedblitz most came over in subscriber count - which I had pretty much given up on.
