I thought I was just imagining the blue light thing! We have colored lights on the Christmas tree this year, but for some reason the only ones that show up through the window outside are the blue ones. We have the most depressing-looking Christmas tree on the block.

Charlie Brown is an American tradition! And blue lights don’t scare me but my neighbors have multicolored flashing lights – I feel them blinking all night while i’m trying to sleep….

Oh, I get so sad when I think about light bulbs. Since the incandescent ones will soon be off the market, I’ve started hoarding them. And as blue as the LED might be, they’re a hell of a lot better than those awful corkscrew fluorescents!

Ah yes, the brutal LED lights We also do our best to be green, but I’d rather have a white roof than unflattering lighting in the house. There’s a CFL lightbulb called, “Daylight” which is the worst light I’ve ever seen in my entire life. It would render the gods of Mount Olympus perfectly hideous. It made me look as if I was the portrait secreted away by Dorian Gray.

Oddly enough, I never particularly like Charlie Brown’s Christmas, but no one should ever interrupt The Year Without a Santa Claus without serious risk to life and limb.

However, as I much prefer Charlie Brown’s Christmas to the continuation of war, I join your outrage.

I have blue lights on my Christmas tree, but they’re not LED lights so that doesn’t put me in the same boat as Elvis, does it?

I always wanted blue icicle lights, too, but only because you don’t see them that often. I ended up buying multicolored icicles instead. Just too lazy to put them up this year. My excuse was I wanted to pressure wash the house first. I’ll get them up next year.

At least your tree isn’t red. The red icicle lights & other red lights always make me think of red light districts, not Christmas, but I guess it’s Christmas every day for some there.
